Sandblasting/Blast Cleaning

Sandblasting is used to clean surfaces and remove rust, oxidation or other finishes – preparing surfaces for new coating applications. Various techniques are used:

• Steel & Shot Blasting
• Aluminium Oxide Blasting
• Garnet Blasting

Paint Finishing/Protective Coatings

The effective life of any paint system is extended with the correct choice and implementation of a sound surface preparation. Interblast chooses the most appropriate protective coating from the following systems:

• Prefabrication Primers
• Etch Primers
• Inorganic Zinc Silicate
• Epoxy Resin Based
• Polyurethane

Glass Beading/Bead Blasting

Bead blasting is a process similar to sandblasting, but glass or metal beads are used as the abrasive material instead of sand.
